The Condor Squadron,
based at Van Nuys, has been flying T-6 Texans for many years
for military funerals and memorial flights, airshows and
Veterans and Memorial Days. It was founded just after WWII by
a former WWII fighter pilot, Dick Sykes. The 4 ship formation
was led by Chris Rushing, the son-in-law of Dick Sykes.
