EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2013
Yves Rossy "Jetman"
Yves Rossy became the
first, and only as of right now, man in history to fly with a
jet propelled wing. Using his body to maneuver and change
course, he flies through the air high above the crowds. After
completing his flight, he deploys a parachute to land. This was his first US public
appearance. He takes off in a helicopter, starts the jet
engines and flies at high altitude. Because of the height of
his flight, it wasn't possible to get a shot with much
detail from my vantage point, but caught some of his
departure and arrival.
