Aircraft have been
used to observe battlefields during the fighting since the
Civil War, when balloons were used. There were several
different liaison and observation aircraft at the show this
year, including a Stinson L-5 Sentinel, Cessna L-19/)-1 Bird
Dog and the Fiesler Fi-156 Storch.
