Memorial Day is a
time to remember those who paid the highest price in service
to our country. It is always an honor to be part of these
flyovers. This year, there were passes over Carpinteria and
Santa Barbara. We were also slated to fly over Solvang, but
the cloud ceilings were too low. For this flight, the lead was
flown by Michael Maloco. Terry Norbraten, Marc Russell and Ron
Alldredge flew in the 2, 3 and 4 slots. I flew in the back of
Ron's airplane for to get photos. These are all T-34 Mentors. These guys are all great pilots and I
thank them for a safe flight.
