13 year old Jacob is
my son. He has been shooting airshows with me for the last few
years. This year, I turned him loose with the Sigma 50-500mm
lens. It's 4.5 pounds and not stabilized. Because the lens he
has used the last few years is much lighter, I wasn;t sure how
he would do with it, nor how long he would be willing to lift
it. He surprised me on all fronts, hefting that lens skyward
all day long with great results. He is a natural! Below are
some of the shots that he took at the show this year.
