The US Army and other
allied troops needed aircraft for liaison duties, and to be an "eye in
the sky" for commanders. Pictured below are a few examples of different
Liaison aircraft made by Piper and Taylorcraft. Liaison aircrafter were
made by several other manufacturers during the war.
