The 27th annual Camarillo Air Show was held on August 18 and 19 this year. The ramp appeared to have fewer aircraft this year on Saturday than in previous years, but the show was a great one. Sponsored by EAA chapter 723, based in Camarillo, they bring out a nice mix of classic and modern general aviation aircraft, home-built aircraft and the warbirds. The Red Bull team wowed the spectators with an amazing parachute demonstration, followed by Chuck Aaron, flying the Red Bull helicopter. You will not see another helicopter routine like this one, with it rolling, looping, and performing aerobatics! Every fly-by and performance was great and well timed.
