There were three of the last three
piston powered Grumman fighters at the show, the F6F Hellcat, F7F
Tigercat and the F8F Bearcat. The Hellcat was the only one to see
combat in WWII, with the F7F and F8F in production, but not quite in
service when WWII ended. The F7F and F8F did see service in the Korean
War.
