The
Strega is a modified P-51 Mustang set up for racing. This P-51 started
out as a P-51D, 44-13105. It was flown by the RAAF for a number of
years, then was later recovered from a farm for display. It was sent to
the US in 1980 and became an air racer. Bill "Tiger" Destefani bought
it in 1983 and has had it since then. It was flown by Steve Hinton Jr.
for the show.
