The Condor Squadron, based
at Van Nuys Airport, has been flying T-6/SNJ trainers for many years.
From memorial flights, to simulated attacks and dogfights, the Condors
fly often. Some of the aircraft are painted in German markings for the
simulated dogfights. The group that flew over the show was returning
from a simulated attack and dogfight over the USS Lane Victory, based
in San Pedro. They also closed the show with the Missing Man formation
to honor the fallen.
