Prior to the highly
successful DC-3, Douglas built the DC-2 for TWA. TWA ordered 20
initially. A total of 156 DC-2s were built. This one was restored in
Southern California and is now owned by the Museum of Flight in
Seattle. It is one of only 2 surviving airworthy DC-2s.
