Travelair E-4000 Biplane


This Travelair E-4000 biplane gave rides over the course of the weekend. The Travel Air comapny was formed in 1925 with about 6 employees. It had grown to over 650 employees working 2 shifts by 1929. The E-4000 was designed to compete with the surplus Curtiss Jennies and standards of the day. The front seat could accomodate 2 passengers.
