Camarillo Airshow 2010
Lockheed Lodestar
The Lockheed Lodestar was
built from batches of the Super Electras to become an economical
airliner. It didn't sell well in the US against the Douglas DC-3 of
then time, but enjoyed marginal success overseas. It was pressed into
US military service during WWII, most noteably as the C-56 and the C-60.
