Camarillo Airshow 2010
Marchetti SF-260
The SAIA Marchetti SF260
was developed by the Italian engineer Stelio Frati for Aviamilano. SAIA
Marchetti purchased the plans and design. It is flown in a number of
countries militaries from training and attack missions. It was also
marketed in the US as a Waco Meteor, although it had nothing to do with
the original Waco manufacturing. There were 2 that flew during the show
and one additional Marchetti on static display. One of the flying
displays was the standard piston model and one had the turbine engine.
