The Ventura County
Sheriff's Office Air Operations is based at the Camarillo
Airport. Their helicopters perform search and rescue,
surveillance and fire support duties. Each day, we were
treated to their helicopter fire support demonstration with
the helicopter dropping a full load of water from its belly
tank.
