The
BD-4 is the oldest kitplane. Jim Beede started selling these kits in
1968, and they are still in high demand. They are fairly easy to build
and have a good reliability. They are also numerous, so getting tips or
modifications is also easy. This BD-4 (N24HB) was built in 1979.
