The
Cessna 172 is the most mass produced light aircraft in history. They
have been in production since 1956 and are still being produced today.
Cessna has made over 43,000 172s in the 50 years of production. The US
military operates the Cessna 172 with the designation T-41. They are
also used by the Civil Air Patrol. They are used by militaries in over
2 dozen countries.
This
one (N870MB) is a 172SP model made in 2004. The SP model features a 180
horsepower engine, leather seats and a Garmin 1000 avionics package as
standard equipment.
