A Day at Santa Paula Airport
Inside 2 of the Museum Hangars
The
Santa Paula Airport has several hangars that are designated as Museum
Hangars. They are scattered along the hangar rows and each have their
own blend of interesting items. They all have items that are
interesting to the aviation buff. But there is also the Dewey Hangar,
that holds three antique race cars. The De Havilland hangar has a
complete Tiger Moth and a complete Gypsy Moth. There are also piece and
part of others that are in the process of restoration. Below are
pictures from the De Havilland hangar and the Dewey hangar. There are
other hangars that are full of all kinds of historical aviation
aircraft, memorabilia and artifacts.
