The
RV-4 prototype first flew in August of 1979. Since then, thousands of
RV-4s have been built and flown worldwide. They have been used in
aerobatics competition and by cross country pilots. The RV-4 is one of
the most popular kit aircrafts in the world. The one pictured below was
built in 1992.
