Lockheed 18 Lodestar/Howard 250
Lockheed
did further development on the Lockheed 14 Super Electra to create the
Lockheed 18 Lodestar. Many variants were built for the Army and Navy
before and during WWII. In Army service, they were the C-56, C-57, C-59
and C60. For the Navy, they were designated the R5O. This one is
actually a Howard 250, designed to be an executive/VIP transport.
