Vultee BT-13 Valiant
The
Vultee BT-13 Valiant was the most widely used American training
aircraft of WWII. Because of the design of the aircraft and the
tendency for the canopy to vibrate in flight, they became known as the
"Vultee Vibrator". Over 11,500 BT-13s were produced when production
ended in 1944. Today, about 100 are still in flyable condition.
