The C-130J Super Hercules
is a big upgrade from the other C-130 models. It can carry more cargo fater and
higher. This one is part of the 146th Airlift Group of the California
Air National Guard. When the name of the pilot was announced, a large
cheer erupted next to me. The group standing to my left included the
parents of that pilot. Mom and Dad could not have been prouder, and
rightfully so.
