Michael Hunter's Flight for Diabetes
When Mike Hunter was diagnosed
with Diabetes, many figured his dreams of becoming a pilot were done.
He has been in a long struggle to control the disease and follow his
dream to be an aerobatics pilot. The Flight for Diabetes, Inc. is
non-profit corporation founded to increase public awareness and
education programs for children with diabetes. Michael Hunter and other
Flight for Diabetes volunteers have provided motivational and
inspirational presentations to thousands of people with diabetes across
the Midwest. Held in conjunction with major aviation events, Flight for
Diabetes will bring more than 6,000 children through their unique
program this season.
