This B-17G was used in 2 movies,
The War Lover and Tora Tora Tora. It has changed hands a number of times over
the years before coming to Southern California. It suffered a bird
stike a few weeks ago at the Chino Airshow, but has been repaired and
is back flying. The repair job was top notch and you can't tell that
there was any damage to the aircraft whatsoever. Like other B-17s, this
one always gets people's attention.
