One of
the highlights of the evening was seeing the F6F, F7F and F8F taxi out
together for takeoff. Unfortunately, the F7F developed a problem and
didn't get off the ground. It's always wiser to miss a flight to figure
out the problem than it is to fly dangerously. The sound of the four
big radials after startup was music to the ears of any warbird fan.
