Culver Aircraft

1941 Culver LFA Cadet (NC34863). The Culver Cadet was designed by Al Mooney (later of Mooney Aircraft). It was a very successful sport plane prior to WWII. When war broke out, the Culver Cadet was ordered to be a target drone for gunnery training. It should be noted that when the Cadets were being built, Walter Beech was the plant manager for Culver Aircraft. Walter Beech would later form Beechcraft.
