The
Piaggio P.180 Avanti is an interesting aircraft of an unusual
configuration. Twin push props and canards are two of the noticeable
features of it's unorthodox design for corporate business travel. The
laminar flow wing was designed at Ohio State University. It was first
flown in 1986.
This P.180 was pictured in August of 2006 at the Camarillo Air Show. It
has since fallen out of FAA records.
