Still not sure? Ok,
updates are sent sporadically and only when there is something new or

Hello all,
Seasons greetings from
VG-Photo. The holidays are upon us once again. I
have been busy with another article and am launching a line of golf
shirts called the "VG-Photo Collection".
First, I took a media flight
in the B-25 "Executive Sweet" back in
August. I wrote a web-based article/photo essay about the experience
for your viewing and reading pleasure. You can find it here:
http://www.vg-photo.com/articles/b25flight.html
Some of you have noticed that
I have added Google ads to some of my
pages. I have done so as a way of helping to pay the cost of the
hosting and bandwidth for my site. If you see something that interests
you, click the link. There is no obligation to buy anything there at
all, but by click on any of the adds, it gives me a few pennies.
Consider it an effortless donation. :)
My new shirt line, "The
VG-Photo Collection" launched over the weekend.
I have started with 5 shirts featuring the B-25 Mitchell, A6M Zero,
P-51 Mustang, P-38 Lightning and the Fokker DR.1 "Red Baron". There
will be more in the comin months and I welcome any suggestions for any
aircraft you would like to see added. If I have a picture of it, I can
do it. You can see the store at:

I wish you all a very Merry
Christmas and a safe, healthy and prosperous
2008! My first airshow and shoot of the year is January 12, which will
include some air-to-air photography. Stay tuned for updates sometime in
mid-January.
Best whooshes! I hope Santa is
good to you all,
Eric

Hello Everyone,
First, I want to wish everyone
a safe and happy thanksgiving. November
21, 2005 was the first day online for the VG-photo website and what an
amazing 2 years it has been! Thousands of miles of traveling to take
photos of airshows has brought a great collection of photographs and
memories.
In October, I visited Santa
Paula Airport for their "First Sunday"
event and spent the day taking pictures, and testing out my new Nikon
D80. The results of the day are in the galleries starting below:
http://www.vg-photo.com/airshow/kszp1007/kszpmain.html
I also published my second
article in the Atlantic Flyer in October,
the Camarillo Airshow Report. The Russian website for Popular Mechanics
magazine selected one of my photos for the Photo of the Day on October
15.
For Veterans Day, I went to my
first Civil War encampment and
re-enactment. It was very convenient, right here in my hometown of
Moorpark. Of course, I brought the cameras along and shot a bunch of
pictures, trying to branch out a bit on my subjects. The response from
the re-enactors and fans has been incredible. Five galleries are posted
in the link below:

The airshow season is over for
the year and who knows what may come up
for shooting opportunities in the next month or so. But next year
promises to be a good one with the first show in January. Next year
will also have the release of 2 children's books that will be featuring
some of the photographs that you all have seen on the site! There is a
lot of good news coming and I will keep you all posted.
Have a safe and Happy
Thanksgiving!
Best Whooshes,
Eric

Autumn greetings everyone!
There has been a lot going on here at
VG-photo. First, on the 20th of September, the website had it's biggest
ever day, with 6,473 hits on the website. The next day, it jumped again
to 20,604 hits. Wow! Things have settled down now, but my average per
day hit count has risen since those 2 days. So to those of you who have
told friends about my site, THANKS!
My second article has been
published in the Atlantic Flyer. It is the
Camarillo Airshow Report. There are a lot of familiar names mentioned
in that article. I am still waiting for the published to add the
pictures to the website (he has a new website design), but the text is
there.

My article on the Silver Wings
was submitted some time ago and should
be published in the next month or so. I know several of you have asked
about that one.
New calendars, T-shirts and
other items are on the web store. More are
being added. Please stop by and take a look. I always welcome
suggestions for items you would like to see.

I have upgraded my camera body
to a 10 megapixel Nikon D80. This mean
better pictures! I am looking to close out the year with some more
shoots, so stay tuned for updates.
Until then, blue skies and
best whooshes,
Eric
