Birds in my yard
After
putting a bird feeder in my yard, I have had a lot of the "other
winged" visitors around my yard. These are shots also taken with the
new Nikon D50 lens.
This
is a Northern Harrier that I
caught the day my new zoom lens arrived.

This is an
unknown type of bird that is
around a lot. It appears to be a finch.

I think this one
is the red faced
bird's mate. They are almost always together.

This is the
mourning dove that we hear
outside our window.

I am pretty sure
this is an American
Goldfinch.

This wasn't in my
yard, but fits with
the theme of this page. I spotted this bird in the pattern at Camarillo
Airport. I believe this is a Cooper's Hawk.
