Abraham Lincoln

The 16th president of the United States had a tough job. Preserving the Union and abolishing slavery were some of the accomplishments of Abraham Lincoln. Some scholars have called him one of America's greatest presidents. Although the generous recontruction projects were occurring to help heal the nation and reunite the country, he still had many enemies. The Lincoln seen here was seen in the Union camp and delivering the Gettyburg Address.
