The Space exhibit
hangar at the museum has some great displays and artifacts
from the space program through the years. There is a lot of interesting
artifacts and information in this hangar. The photos below
are a small sample of the interesting exhibits in the space
hangar.
The North American X-15A-2 replica. The
X-15, launched from a B-52, which is on display at the museum,
would fly 199 times, setting a number of speed and altitude
records.

Solar powered car, one of the things that technology from the
space program has given us.

Contrast in technoloy. Vacuum tubes in a case with circuit
boards and integrated circuits. This demostrated the kind of
technological leap that was made possible by the space
program.
