July 15, 2011- Aviator Flight Training
Tom Hicks in the AG5B Tiger

The second flight of the day was a training flight. I flew in the back seat of the RV-4 with Chris Hicks to photograph and video Tom Hicks in his AG5B Tiger. It was his first time flying formation solo, and he did well. I also photographed his first formation flight in April in his NE-1 (Navy Piper Cub) with Chris as his safety pilot. It is always a privilege to photograph milestones and memories, and now I have captured two of Tom's milestones.
