Ryan PT-22 Recruit

The fourth flight of the day was led by Terry Freedman, who was on his checkride to be a flight leader. It was a tough flight to lead. He and his wingman were in PT-22 Recruits, while I was flying in the back seat of a Legend Cub with Skeeter flying. The Cub doesn't have the horsepower to climb with the PT-22, but Skeeter called in with the flight leader to put the flight into a turn so that we could intercept in the turn. Dissimilar aircraft and turbulence make for a difficult time for an experienced flight leader, but Terry did a good job getting us all into our slots for a good looking flight back to Cable. Congratulations go out to Terry for his successful flight lead check ride.
