Dan Buchanan's Hang Gliding Pyrotechnics
Dan
Buchanan flies a hang glider and performs a great routine. His glider
is towed behind a pickup truck with a tow line up to about 1,800 feet
before the line is released. He then performs manuevers and launches
pyrotechnics while doing the routine. What is amazing is that Dan is a
parapalegic. He lands the glider on wheels and transitions from his
hang gliding cocoon to his wheelchair effortlessly. He loves the crowds
and is often seen at shows signing autographs and talking to
children after his show. He is an inspiration to everyone, not allowing
anything to stop him from doing what he loves.
