Cable Airshow 2009
Martin Kennedy and his Staudacher S 600
TThe 2009 Cable airshow
was the first air show performance for Martin Kennedy, flying his
Staudacher S 600. He was a competition aerobatic pilot for a number of
years. The Staudacher S 600 is an aircraft of which there aren't a
whole lot of, with only about 20 or so flying. They were designed by
Jon Staudacher for unlimited aerobatics. Martin flew a great
performance and I look forward to seeing more of his performances in
the future. At the end of the show on Sunday, Rob Harrison welcomed him
to the air show world with a nice bucket of cold water, which got more
of Rob than of Martin, but it was all in good fun.
Rob tips
the bucket as Martin heads for cover and Doug Jardine looks on.
