Seventeen-year-old
Sammy Mason is in his second year performing at airshows. For this
season, he is performing aerobatics in a 1941 Stearman biplane. Sammy
is the grandson of another aerobatic performer by the same name. Both
of his parents are also pilots. Part of the extended "Santa Paula
family" was out at the show to cheer him on. Sammy takes off and lands
while waving to the crowd.
