The
F-15E Eagle is a dual role fighter and fighter/attack
aircraft. The F-15s agility and thrust-to-weight ratio have made it
unmatched for many years. The first F-15 flew in 1972 and has had a
perfect combat record, racking up a large number of kills without any
losses. The F-15E Strike Eagle further extends the capability of this
aircraft as a ground support aircraft. This one is based at Seymour
Johnson AFB.
