Yak-11 Moose replica
The
Yakovlev Yak-11 has it's roots in the Soviet Yak-3 fighter of WWII. It
became a popular post-war trainer used in many Warsaw Pact nations
during the cold war. NATO referred to it as the "Moose" while the
Warsaw Pact nations referred to it as the "Hawk". The Moose was the T-6
of the eastern bloc nations. The Soviets built over 3,800 of them, and
the Czech aircraft factory, LET, produced another 700 of them.
