August 20-21, 2011- Wings Over Camarillo
T-34 Mentor
The The Beech T-34 Mentor
was the post-war trainer that replaced the AT-6 Texan. It was durable
and reliable. They are based on the popular Beechcraft Bonanza. T-34s
were flown by the Army, Navy and Air Force as well as several foreign
countries. The T-34C Mentors (turbine powered) are being phased out, to
be replaced by the Texan II. These three T-34s are flown by members of
the T-34 Association and I have flown photo shoots with each of these
guys on different occasions. Michael Maloco led the flight with Darren
Moore and Marc Russell.
