The 31st annual Camarillo
Airshow "Wings Over Camarillo" took place on August 20-21, 2011.
Despite issues with the advertised air race that didn't happen, it was
still a nice show. Rob Harrison, John Collver and Clay Lacy all flew
great aerobatic performances. Newcomer Judy Phelps flew her first
aerobatic performance and Sammy Mason did another great performance in
the Stearman. Chuck Aaron amazed the crowds with his aerobatics routine
in the Red Bull Helicopter. The CAF ramp on the west end was
overflowing with warbirds. Two Zeros flew in the show this year as
well, which is a rare sight. Everyone who flew at the show did a great
job.
