Saturday Afternoon Flying
After lunch on Saturday, we
briefed for an ambitious flight. We flew a 10 ship formation for the
museum. Flying a formation that large introduces a number of
challenges, mainly getting everyone formed up and in position in the
sky. But the guys managed to get it all together. We flew several
passes over the airport for the museum before dividing into smaller
formations for more practice. I flew again with Marc Russell, who lead
us for a few more passes over the airport as a three ship formation.
Mike Talbot and David Easton flew with Marc for the three ship passes.
