Sunday Flying

Sunday brough windy conditions early, with winds getting worse as the day progressed. In the morning, we had 14 airplanes go up for several 3 to 4 ship flights and a couple of solo fly bys. We staggered the formations so that the museum had a steady stream of fly bys. This worked out well for both the crews of the aircraft and the museum visitors. I flew with Jim Ostrich in the lead ship for this formation so that I could get some photos of Marc Russell's airplane this time. Don Ramm and Larry Bierma were also in the formation. We did a similar set up for the afternoon. We flew a few passes for the museum and departed after that for home.
