Friday flight to Palm Springs
Friday,
March 30, I met Marc Russell at the CAF hangar in Camarillo. The plan
was for Ron and Paula Alldredge to fly down from Tehachapi, join us for
lunch and then we would fly down to Palm Springs as a flight of 2. The
weather wasn't being too cooperative in the morning and the usual
marine layer around Camarillo persisted a bit longer than normal.
Weather also delayed Ron and Paula's departure, but they made it down
after lunch and we headed for Palm Spring as planned. I was testing a
new lens for the flight and informed Ron and Paula that they would be
my guinea pigs. Ron found a guinea pig paper mask, attached it to a
straw and had Paula hold it up for some photos. This group is fun.
