Although best known for
their World War II service, the Mustang was flown up into the early
days of the US involvement in Vietnam. This Mustang (N2580) was
actually manufactured in 1967. It spent time in the Bolivian Air Force
before eventually ending up in the hands of it current owner, who has
had it since 1992.
