The USAF Heritage flight
this year was an A-10 Thunderbolt II (also known as the Warthog) and
the P-51 Mustang "Six Shooter". Both aircraft are legendary for their
eras. The Mustang carried the fight right into the heart of the German
Reich, escorting bombers to their targets and back. The Warthogs are
known for the deadly firepower against armor. Someone once said The
A-10 "Kills tanks, dead.".
