There are many interesting
people and things to photograph amongst the encampments. Here are some
of the people and objects of the time period.
A couple of the reenactors from the

and some stewed tomatoes. This is actually a much better mean than most
soldiers got during the war.

Wilmer McLean. The first engagment of the Civil War, the first Battle
of Bull Run, took place on his front yard. In a strange twist of fate,
the war ended in his parlor, 120 miles away from where it began. It is
quite a story!
