Cable Airshow 2015 banner

The Cable Airport was founded 70 years ago this year. This year's event was the 40th annual airshow at Cable. This year, the theme was aircraft of the 1940s and there were an abundance of vintage aircraft and warbirds. The weather started out marginal and got worse as the day progressed on Saturday, with the show being cancelled in the afternoon because of rain. But despite the weather, there was some great flying and the weather didn't dampen the spirits of the crews nor the crowds. The highlight for me was seeing the CAF's 1942 Messerschmitt Bf-108 Taifun, flown by Jason Somes.
